Kyah Kani

Kyah started dance at a young age, exploring different genres and styles. She began immersing herself within the choreography and crew community in 2018, and has had the privilege of competing and dancing locally, nationally, and internationally over the years. Kyah has learnt from many diverse and well experienced dancers/choreographers, that have helped her gain knowledge and grow in her movement.

Currently, Kyah is the director of The Hound Dance Company, a dance program that aims to progress dancers skillset and mindset, and is also the director of the all female crew, Grillsqood (Girl Squad).

Throughout the last couple of years, Kyah is known for her unique and complex choreography, which has been showcased on various stages and videos. Some of the achievements that Kyah has attained includes 3rd place Danchella 2021, 1st place Danchella 2022, 2nd place at ADCC 2023, 1st place Dancers Paradise, training in LA, Amsterdam, and London, and choreography performed in Dani Enli’s music video “I Like You”.
